Winter is almost gone and spring is ready to bloom. This means that Spring Break is right around the corner! Now it’s time to start planning your vacation.
With such a variety of options, how can one choose? Here are some options to help you with your search.
For those looking for some fun in the sun, take a load of at the beach. If you want to stay in Southern California, try visiting San Diego for the week. You can visit the well-received San Diego Zoo or cool off while riding Atlantis at Sea World. There’s also a wide variety of restaurants for you to eat at and you can also spend some time in Old Town San Diego.
If you want to get out of California but still want to stay sunny, try staying at a hotel in Miami, Florida. You can hit up the local beach or visit the gardens and animals at the Miami Metrozoo. If you’re into sports, maybe you can take a visit to Dolphin Stadium to spruce up your vacation. You can also visit Crandon Park Marina, which offers scuba diving, snorkeling, and boat hire if you wish to cool off.
Not everyone wishes to spend their week of freedom in the sun. If you’re looking for some snow action but don’t want to leave the state, Mammoth Mountain might just be the place to go. Hit the slopes while spending your evenings inside at the local resort. Mammoth also offers many special events, such as concerts or a birthday celebration for their iconic Wooly.
However, if the California snow doesn’t cut it for you, try staying at the Vail Ski Resort in Colorado, the largest ski resort in the nation. They offer skiing, snowboarding, and many sporting events. There are also many tourist attractions, such as museums and wildlife that may catch your eye when browsing through those resort brochures.
Spring is just the perfect time of year to go out and have fun in the sun without burning yourself. So this spring break, go out and enjoy the fresh air before having to come back and study away for those exams and AP tests!
