The boys have played 9 matches so far. They have won 5 matches, 2 against Wilson, 1 against West Covina and 2 against Diamond Ranch. The best scoring player on the team, also the captain, Kao shot his average score of 43. The co-captain of the team, Spivey, says, “I play golf to win and there's no way winning would be possible if we all didn't come together as a team. I love my team, and as long as we have that drive, we are one step closer to CIF."

The boys had their closest match against Rowland on Tuesday, March 27, losing by just one stroke. This misery did not cause the boys to give up. They then played against West Covina and won by more than 8 strokes. The boys just need to win three more matches before CIF.

With the addition of the new players, Hal Evans, head coach, says, “I am expecting the boys to qualify for CIF. We need to beat Bonita and West Covina, and I do believe we can make it to CIF because we have the ability to qualify, but we need everyone to play to their potential on a more consistent basis.”
